This is the first of two views from the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square on Friday 25th September 2009, as a participant in the One and Other project by Anthony Gormley.
For my hour on the plinth, I decided to photograph a panorama of the view, stitch it (on a laptop) and upload it to this site - all within the hour. Due to the limited time I uploaded the panorama in a "raw" form - without colour correction, and without removing the top of the tripod (visible below).
After the event, I did further work on this photo to colour correct and patch the hole - you can view the corrected panorama too.
